Part number 8737710962 replaces the previous Worcester part number 8737712510. Therefore, you may receive the current part when searching for either reference.

The pressure relief valve helps protect the sealed heating system by releasing water if the system pressure becomes excessive. However, water discharging from the PRV can also indicate another fault, such as an expansion-vessel problem or excessive filling pressure. Consequently, an engineer should diagnose the cause before replacing the valve.
