Baxi 5137529 Fan Air Pressure Switch

The Baxi 5137529 Fan Air Pressure Switch is a replacement safety component designed for selected Baxi, Main and Potterton boilers.

This part supersedes the earlier 247380 Air Pressure Switch and is responsible for monitoring airflow generated by the boiler fan before ignition can take place.

The pressure switch confirms that combustion gases can be safely expelled through the flue system. If the correct pressure is not detected, the boiler safety controls prevent operation.

A faulty pressure switch may cause ignition failure, lockouts, intermittent operation or fan-related fault codes.
