The Baxi 720859501 Expansion Vessel (10L) is a  replacement component designed to maintain stable water pressure within your Baxi, Potterton, or Main boiler system. Over time, the original diaphragm in an expansion vessel can deteriorate, causing pressure loss, boiler lockouts, or repeated pressure topping-up.

This 10-litre expansion vessel restores proper pressure regulation, helping to protect the pump, heat exchanger, and PRV from unnecessary strain. It is widely used across the Baxi Duo-Tec, EcoBlue, Advance, System, and Megaflo ranges, as well as selected Main and Potterton units.

For best results, many engineers replace this part together with the Baxi PRV 720787801, ensuring the system pressure remains consistent after installation.
