Ideal 178205 Ignitor Unit Clip On (ADP Onwards) – Genuine Ideal Boiler Igniter
The Ideal 178205 Ignitor Unit Clip On (ADP Onwards) is a genuine manufacturer-approved ignition component designed to generate the spark required to ignite the gas burner in compatible Ideal boilers.
A failed ignitor can cause no ignition, ignition lockouts, flame failure faults, or intermittent boiler operation. Replacing it with the correct OEM Ideal ignitor restores reliable and safe boiler performance.
This clip-on ignitor is manufactured to Ideal’s original specifications and is intended as a direct replacement. Installation must always be carried out by a Gas Safe registered engineer.
