Ideal 180653 Detection Electrode – Evomax 2 Boilers

The Ideal 180653 Detection Electrode is a genuine replacement component designed to monitor flame presence within selected Ideal Evomax 2 commercial boilers.

This electrode plays a critical safety role by confirming that a stable flame is present during operation. If the electrode becomes worn, contaminated, or damaged, the boiler may experience nuisance lockouts or fail to fire correctly.

Manufactured to Ideal’s original specifications, this detection electrode ensures accurate flame sensing, reliable operation, and continued compliance with boiler safety systems. Installation must be carried out by a Gas Safe registered engineer, particularly for commercial appliances.
