Potterton 720064801 Temperature Sensor – Apollo & Performa

The Potterton 720064801 Temperature Sensor is an NTC probe designed to monitor boiler water temperature accurately.

This sensor relays temperature data to the PCB, allowing the boiler to regulate heat output safely and efficiently. When the sensor fails, common issues include:

• Boiler overheating

• Heating cutting in and out

• Incorrect temperature readings

• Boiler locking out with fault codes

• Hot water temperature instability

Replacing the temperature sensor restores accurate temperature control and reliable operation.
