The Viessmann Expansion Vessel CRI 8 – Part Number 7837231, supplied with the Viessmann 3-Bar Safety Valve PRV (7837892), is a pressure control solution designed for Viessmann system and combi boilers.

The expansion vessel absorbs pressure increases caused by heated water expanding within the system. A failed or waterlogged vessel can cause pressure loss, constant PRV discharge, and frequent boiler shutdowns. Replacing the vessel restores correct pressure stability and protects internal components.

This kit is ideal when a boiler repeatedly loses pressure or when the existing vessel has failed its pre-charge.
