Replace a faulty boiler thermistor with this new compatible Worcester 87186504540 NTC sensor. It fits Worcester Greenstar 2000 25kW and 30kW combi boilers.
The NTC sensor monitors temperature and sends the relevant reading to the boiler controls. Therefore, a faulty sensor may cause incorrect temperature readings, unstable operation, fault codes or boiler lockouts.
However, similar symptoms can result from damaged wiring, poor connections or another boiler component. Consequently, a qualified engineer should test the system before ordering a replacement sensor.
